Travel Information
We will be marrying at the beautiful lake of Zurich in Switzerland. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic there are special rules for people entering Switzerland. Depending on the type of travel, you might have to fill out an entry form, show proof of a negative test and/or go into quarantine.
Parking Information
Since the hotel has limited parking space, we would highly recommend the parking at the rail station of Küsnacht.
Dress Code
We highly recommend not to wear white or ivory coloured dresses because we do.
Covid Requirements
Please make sure to visit us during the wedding with a valid covid certificate, otherwise you cannot participate the event. The COVID certificate provides documentary evidence that you have had a COVID-19 vaccination, have had and recovered from the disease or have tested negative. The COVID certificate will be issued at the following locations: Vaccination centres, Medical practices, Hospitals, Pharmacies, Test centres, Laboratories, Cantonal authorities.
Sightseeing Zürich
1) You can get from Hotel Sonne directly to the city using the cruise in front of the hotel to Bürkliplatz. 2) You can walk from Quaibrücke to Münsterbrücke. 3) On the left-hand side of the bridge, you can find Fraumünster and on the right-hand side, there is Grossmünster. 4) From Fraumünster you can access Bahnhofstrasse (shopping street). 5) You can either walk to the mainstation and take the train back to Küsnacht or walk back to Fraumünster towards Bellevue/Stadelhofen. 6) You can enjoy the lakeside at Sechseläutenplatz/Opernhaus. 7) From Bürkliplatz, you can take the cruise back to Küsnacht.
